With the construction of ever larger shunting and BW areas, a stay for the operating personnel that had to work outside in all weathers was of great importance.
So was our building, which is based on a 1912 KPEV plan.
This type of construction was still in use until the 50s (i.e. in epoch 3).
It can also be used by a craft workshop or as a backyard workshop.
Later, the inner half-timbered house was bricked up and the walls plastered - many a building has a hard time looking at its prehistory.
our model:
In order to come as close as possible to the model, we have provided the barrack with a precision engraving in real wood look.
In this way, in addition to the realistic structure, we also achieve the effect of a weathering, peeling colour.
typical windows from epoch 1 onwards
Easy to assemble due to tap connections
solid-coloured cardboard, no further colour treatment is required.
elaborate precision engraving in real wood look and the effect of peeling colour (engraved pixel by pixel, unfortunately this costs a lot of expensive laser time)
Precision engraving in real wood optics for a scale and realistic wood structure
movable doors in the inner walls
bright interior walls for individual colouring (according to own ideas)

Hint:
When assembling the cardboard kit, please use only white glue which does not contain any admixtures such as quartz sand. These automatically lead to unwanted gaps ! For this reason we recommend "Bindan RS". (with which we have gathered the best experience), which you can also order from us.
With the kits you only need very (!) little glue, because we connect flat parts with each other. A light wetting is enough.
Window glass is glued with commercially available all-purpose adhesive.
