The prototype of our track scale was built in the early 30-ies of the last century at the station Bochum-Gussstahl.
Nearby was the Bochumer Verein with its steelworks and metal processing.
Today, a part of the Bochumer Verein still exists and specializes in wheels for locomotive and wagon construction.
In its construction it features modern manufacturing processes such as:
steel framework with brick lining and cement plastering
extensive lattice windows over the entire building for a large all-round view
blind frames on the windows by means of metal sheets
elevated position of the personnel by a walled concrete base

Unfortunately, since we do not currently have clearance for this photo, we cannot show it. We have implemented all these features into the model for you.

Tip:
When assembling the cardboard kit, please use only white glue that does not contain admixtures such as quartz sand. These automatically lead to unwanted gaps ! For this reason we recommend "Bindan RS" (with which we have had the best experience), which you can also order from us.
With the kits you need only very (!) little glue, because we connect plane parts together. A light wetting is enough.
Window glass is glued with standard all-purpose glue.
